I can't believe I did it.

Yep, it's true.. I went to New Moon! Me, Donnie, her bro and sis and a friend went to the midnight premier showing of New moon, and it truly was a blast. We saw Twilight at 930 and New moon right after. The movie was fabulous. The best was, the guy sitting behind us making us laugh the whole time with his singing and loud cat calls. The rough part of the whole night was getting out of the parking lot at 330 in the am without getting shot. All I could think was "I am a tired pregnant girl who has a lot of road rage and i just wanna get home." It's sad to think that I thought I was crazy to go to a midnight showing of a movie, being prego and all, cause back in the day I wouldn't have blinked on eye. I guess I'm getting old, or just becoming a tired mom!

We are getting big around here...

I am talking about Carsyn, but considering me and my current circumstance, I am getting big too. But I really don't want to talk about that right now, cause I might cry. Carsyn just conquered a huge mile stone in her life. The idea of even starting this task has just scared me to pieces. I always thought this day would come, but I never knew when...and I never wanted to actually put forth the effort, thinking it would be too hard.

We are potty trained!!!!!

It only took a few days, and we have it down! I really don't know why I was so scared. I think just having to slow down a little bit in my own life, and not knowing how long it would take, frightened me.
So Carsyn is a big girl now, and I'm so excited to not change diapers.... for a few weeks. HAHAHA!

PS. Just wanted to share a few pictures of Carsyn at 2 1/2. She has such a fun personality and I really can't believe how grown up she has become. As we prepare for baby #2, I know she is going to be the best big sis ever.

Our Little Angel

was a shinning star this Halloween. We started off the season on the most frigid night... Last Wednesday was the Harmony Park annual Halloween block party, and it happened to be freezing out side. It was kinda different to see everyone bundled up and leaving early, cause it was so cold out. Carsyn didn't seem to mind the cold, but she really minded the scary looking costumes. AHHHHHHOn Halloween we went to our Ward trunk or treat. All the cousins were there, and happy to see each other.
After our ward trunk or treat we headed back over to the Harmony Park area to trick or treat. We always hang out at the Udall's for a pot luck and to Celebrate Collin's Birthday. I think he got a big surprise this year when Craig and Melissa showed up unexpectedly. It was great to see them again.
Sarah Udall, Me and Melissa Udall watching the trick or treat ers, all prego!!!!!
Off we went trick or treating....
It was successful..Getting all the candy she wanted, cause she would grab more than one at a time....

and then..we had one tired little angel!!!!

she was quickly cured with an ice cream cone and some people watching, for the rest of the night
yum yum!!!

Up in the Pine's

Cooler weather, great company...what more could you ask for? My friend Donnie invited Carsyn and I to visit her parents up in Pinetop. We had such a relaxing time hangin out while the kids played and played out side in the freezing cold. They really didn't seem to mind the weather, all they really cared about was this fantastic Escalade in the back yard.

Carsyn had a great time at the wheel. Raylee, on the otherhand, had to hang on for dear life!

I am now 30 weeks along with baby girl #2, so Donnie asked her dad if we could go down to his office for a 3D ultra sound. The good news is..It's still a girl, Feew! It's always such an emotional experience to see your baby, but I think felt it the most this time:)

The baby wasn't in the best position, for the first ultra sound. So, a couple candy bars later, we finally got a good look at her face. It's hard to tell in this picture, but she has some great, full lips and a full head of hair. I can't be more excited to meet her.

With the kids strapped in, and half of them asleep, we were headed home from a great weekend away.

Donnie and I had a great time chattin it up, but I think we were most excited to get home to hand our kids off to our wonderful hubby's.
Thanks Trixie for a great weekend away. We shall do this again soon, retreat style...no kids:)

Celebrating at the Happiest Place on Earth

It's official, I am 25 years old as of Monday! And we decided to celebrate, as a family, at my most favorite place ever....Disneyland. It was such a blast watching Carsyn see Disneyland for the first time. We enjoyed every second of our vacation. Here's what it was all about...

For Carsyn, we came to Disneyland to see Sleeping Beauty "kiss a booty" as Carsyn calls her. We waited in the princess line for almost an hr. In the middle of waiting, Dave noticed that Sleeping Beauty left. We were devastated. We decided to wait it out any way and see if she would come back. We entered the Princess Fairy Land, and she was not there. We first saw Ariel, then Mulan, and all the sudden.....Sleeping beauty came back. She walked right up to Carsyn got down and talked to her for like 5 minutes. Carsyn was in shock she really didn't know what to say, but it made her day. It was fate. Were where there at the most perfect time:)

After we left the Princess Fairy Land, we got to look at the Princess things, and all Carsyn wanted was her face painted. So, instead of a Sleeping beauty wand or purse, she said "No, I wait to get my face painted." And that's what we did. She sat in the chair and closed her eyes and was so ready to get her face painted.

All day long, everywhere we went, she told every one that she had sparkles on her face. It was the best thing we could have ever done. Who Knew?

At the parade, Carsyn had the best view and daddy's shoulder's

At the parade, Carsyn got to dance with all the Dancers and kids in the street. She loved it and was so not afraid to run out there, by her self and dance. She loved it.

I was pooped at the end of the day and was so happy to have spent it at Disney Land with this great guy and my kiddo.

We had the opportunity to stay with our friends, Craige and Melissa Udall ,during our vacation. They were the best. The night before my birthday, we celebrated with brownies and ice cream. Thanks Melissa for making my day so special. xoxo

We had to get one last pic of us and our bumps before we left. We are due 1 day apart and we are both having girls. It was so fun to be there and talk about being prego together:)

And yes.. the best pic of all, shortly after we all woke up, and before Craige left for school. Thank you guys for a fantastic time, and for all you did for us.

I just had to end with this one last picture of Carsyn and her "oh so sassy" face, right after she got her proud butterfly painted in her cheek!

GO MHS!!!!

High School = not the fondest memories for me, but for my hubby... I think they were some of the BEST of times. He had the best group of friends (not to say that I didn't. I love my girl friends that I went to school with. I just think I could have done without all the drama that came with being in high school) He was in Student Council, and had the best time all through out school . So going back to the good ol' MHS was a good time to be had by him, but with me, I wanted to hide in the car. The good sport that I am, went along with my hubby and my girly and the Udall's, to go catch the MHS homecoming game. We actually had a great time together and it wasn't as traumatic as I anticipated. We got to the game early to get a good parking spot, then walked over to NED'S Crazy sub for dinner (the pizza boat was my samich of choice when I was in school. Now I prefer the ham and swiss on white:) Then we walked back over, just in time for the game to start. We stayed until half time to watch the king and queen get crowned and to see the parade. It was lots of fun, and Carsyn really enjoyed the cheerleaders and watching the game (she is definitely a sports fan, thanks to her Dad). The night ended on a sad note with Carsyn running to get into the car, tripping over the curb, and whacking her head on the asphalt. But..we made it home in one piece. Hurray!

We had a great time as a Family....

and with the Udall's!

I think Carsyn is the #1 Fan for whoever anyone is cheering for!

She was all smiles the whole night, especially after aunt Sarah gave her a sucker. But it was short lived after the curb jumped out and tripped her:(
